Partnership capital is crafted through a highly relational process. True partnership builds as each person gives what the other needs to build trust and unity at each step.

• Fitting – we get a feel for each other’s values and goals.

• Designing – we try to discover a shared vision for exponential value creation.

• Forming – we identify, expectations, interdependencies, and commitments.

• Testing – we review all assumptions and see if a firm structure emerges. This may take iterations and seasons of waiting. 

When formal partnership does not result, we make one other more valuable. If the process yields partnership, we follow a similar cycle that drives performance – think, execute, account.
