Motives and Model

We start with code of ethics, standards, and practices that align with our values.

Traditionally, most private equity models are filled of conflicts of interests, firms have a reputation of exploiting portfolio companies for their own returns.

This has bred a narrative of mistrust in owners toward the private equity industry. We have breathed this air of mistrust alongside our owners. This led us to found a private investment enterprise with a model and motive designed to serve owners first.

Our Motive.

Our values are at the core of all that we do. Our hundreds of owner relationships will attest that we live these values. We will not align ourselves with financial capital that does not align to these values. We build trusted relationships with our capital sources and we rigorously test their alignment to these values.

Our Model.

We directly invest in each enterprise as a distinct partnership. We have committed working capital to fund our (lean) operations, and we have capital committed for partnership opportunities. We have the advantages of a traditional fund in having committed capital without the disadvantages (mentioned above). We also have the advantage of belonging to a larger family of enterprises, which we believe is better than belonging to a fund’s portfolio of companies in the connections to human, relational and intellectual capital it provides.

We believe our motive and model lays the foundation for our strategy of building partnership capital.
